I'll be visiting with 7 adults and 3 children 10 and under. Where can we stay for the most reasonable price, yet still experience the magic of staying at a Disney resort?

    Hi Caroline,

I have great news for you. No matter which Walt Disney World resort hotel you choose, you will receive the benefits of staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel! These include Extra Magic Hours, which give you extra time in select theme parks, Magical Express to get you to and from the airport, MagicBands included with your stay, and much more! Let me offer you some thoughts for your group.

Which location you will choose depends a bit on the specific makeup of your traveling party, as well as how you would split up that traveling party to stay in rooms. Disney lists a number of guests that can be in a room. You can always add one extra guest under the age of 3 to that number. So if a room lists that it can sleep four guests, you can add a fifth guest if that guest is under the age of 3. Therefore, if two of your traveling party are under 3 years old, you could stay in two regular rooms at a value resort. Another option for you at a value resort, if your party does not include these youngest children, is to look at the family suites at Disney's Art of Animation Resort or Disney's All-Star Music Resort. The family suites sleep up to six adults each, so you would need two of them, but they offer more space to spread out.

If neither of these options will work for you, look at the moderate resorts. In a regular hotel room, you will find a little more space at these than at the value resorts. There are some rooms at moderate resorts which sleep five adults, so even if the children are older, you could fit into two of these rooms. These include some rooms at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort and Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside.

Please do let us know if you have any further questions, Caroline!
