I'll be traveling to Disney World with 5 adults and 4 kids. It's two families with 2 kids each and me. The kids will be 2, 3, 5, and 6. What are our best lodging options?

Hi Julie! Sounds like a big party for all of you at Walt Disney World. There are lots of different ways to book but am assuming you will want to stay together. Your best bet is to book a two bedroom Vacation Villa in one of the resorts. I like the Beach Club but Wilderness Lodge and others are just as great. It comes down to location as far as what park do you wish to be close to. Saratoga Springs is not close to a park but it is close to Downtown Disney. The Old Key West units are the oldest but they have had refurbishment and are probably the largest of all properties.

The bedrooms will generally come with a king bed room and then a two queen bedroom or a queen and pull out sofa. The living area will have a pull out sofa as well and the two year old is likely still in a crib which can be put anywhere. These units will have a full size kitchen making them nice to have easy breakfast and snacks served.

If you feel you will want more privacy then I suggest you book three rooms at a resort. Two can connect with the third next to those if you choose that route. You give up the kitchen facilities but you will each have your bathroom and a place to escape if needed. Sometimes the kids do better if there is a little separation at some point each day to unwind. That goes for the adults too!
