Hi! I'll be making my 6th trip to WDW in October and staying in a family suite at All-Star Music for the 1st time. May we bring a waffle iron and crock-pot to use in the kitchenette? Will the refrigerator hold a gallon jug of milk? Thanks in advance.

    Hi, Jessica!

Thanks for sending your question to Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Your upcoming stay in a Disney's All-Star Music Resort Family Suite will be spectacular! The resort is lovely, with both the Guitar-Shaped Pool and the smaller Piano Pool offering plenty of seating and great theming. You'll love it!

Regarding a stay in any Walt Disney World Resort room with a kitchen/kitchenette, guests are discouraged from bringing electrical equipment with heating elements for cooking. For safety, guests are asked to utilize the equipment provided. However, over at Intermission Food Court, you'll find a row of toasters that are available to the right of the Quick-Service counter, should you wish to use them. When we stay in a WDW resort with a kitchenette, I plan breakfasts based on equipment available, and ship a box of shelf-stable items to the resort. Cereal, breakfast bars, boxes of pastries and bagels are an easy way to start your day in a suite without having to run out for breakfast, especially if one person is an early riser and some others might like to sleep a little later.

The mini-fridge is a nice size, with room for a 1/2 gallon of milk. The door has rows of compartments, too, great for stacking juice and chocolate milk boxes. We typically do not have a car at WDW, so I'll stop at the resort shop--here, Maestro Mickey's--to pick up refrigerated items such as milk, juice, butter, meats and cheeses, as well as bread or rolls; head to Intermission Food Court for fruit that you can keep in the fridge to enjoy the next day, too.

Send more questions as you plan your magical stay, Jessica; we love to help!
