I'll be at the Magic Kingdom in March with a 6 & 1 yr old. My 1 yr old runs out of steam around 1:00. Our hotel is 1hr away, so going back is not an option. Are there nap zones or quiet places where my baby might be able to nap? I'd hate to leave so ea

    Hi Nicole!

I am very excited to hear your family will be celebrating at the Magic Kingdom so soon! Watching the wonder on your children's faces will be priceless.  I have visited Walt Disney World many times with little ones and absolutely understand the need for an afternoon snooze.  You will be happy to hear that there are wonderful Baby Care Centers located in the parks.  Along with being a bit quieter and air-conditioned, the Baby Care Centers offer many other amenities to assist you with your little ones. Another idea I have found useful is to take a few leisurely loops on the Walt Disney World Railroad.  It can be the perfect way to ensure my little ones catch up on their beauty sleep while still allowing me to enjoy the park (and rest my feet.)  I have been a passenger many times with a napping baby across my lap and a subtle breeze in my hair-- enjoying the view of the picturesque scenery and watching other guests roam the park. Very serene! If you need a change in scenery, the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover works its magic the same as a car ride in putting my tots asleep.  It is an indoor/outdoor tour through Tomorrowland. Although this ride is only 10-minutes, I have found that if the line isn't too busy, on occasion, the Cast Members will let you stay on for a few loops to allow your child to sleep.  Please be aware this is completely up to their discretion and ride availability, but it never hurts to ask.

I hope these ideas help you in finding a perfect place for your little one to find some rest.  Sometimes it seems like a stroller and a quiet area of the park is all it takes.  I am sure you will find a perfect solution.  Have a wonderful vacation and please let me know if there is anything else I may help you with.

    Magical Wishes,
