Hi, I"ll be bringing my 6 year old niece in August for the first time. I want her to have the best first experience ever. We'll be staying in the CR and I was wondering if I should make the reservations for the dining exp. now or if I should wait?

    Hi Yasmin!

I recommend that guests make dining reservations at 180 days out if possible; that's the earliest Disney will allow you to make them.  Some of the restaurants, such as Cinderella's Royal Table inside Cinderella Castle in the Magic Kingdom, book up very very quickly.  I've had trouble getting an Advanced Dining Reservation for that restaurant 180 days in advance!

Chef Mickey's is an awesome experience in the Contemporary Resort.  It has become a "must do" on every trip to Walt Disney World for my family.  My children, ages 5 and 10, absolutely love eating with Mickey and his friends.  Both breakfast and dinner are buffet style and I personally like dinner better.  However, you can't go wrong with either.

    Have a magical vacation!
