Hello, I’ll be arriving to Disney World In February for 4 days. On day 1, planned on going to Animal Kingdom but I won’t be there till noon. Will this give me enough time to experience everything or should my first day be Epcot? I don’t have hopper passes

    Hi Christine,

Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I am happy to help you think about which theme park to visit on your arrival day.

I like your plan of heading on your first day to Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. This is a lovely park and will be a great start to your vacation. I suggest that if you are interested in riding the new and amazing Avatar Flight of Passage attraction, which allows you to simulate a ride on a banshee, that you make a Disney FastPass+ selection for this experience. This attraction is very popular, and if you are trying to save time on that first day, Disney FastPass+ will allow you to experience the attraction with a shorter wait time. I also highly suggest Expedition Everest - Legend of the Forbidden Mountain if you enjoy roller coasters - it is exhilarating! Finally, I think that Kilimanjaro Safaris is the quintessential Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park attraction. From your safari vehicle, you will be able to see many exotic animals.

I can easily spend an entire day from opening time until the last notes of Illuminations: Reflections of Earth, at Epcot. Start your day in Future World. Some of my favorite attractions here include the slow-moving Spaceship Earth, a journey through the history and future of communication, and Soarin', on which you get to float above icon scenes from around the world. In the afternoon, head back to World Showcase, where you can spend the afternoon wandering the international pavilions which offer shopping, dining and attractions. Cap off the night with Illuminations: Reflections of Earth, and you have a perfect day.

Please let us know if you have any further questions, Christine!
