Any ideas on what we might do with an 8 hour (10 am to 6 pm) at MCO after our cruise for a mom and 9 year old daughter? Thank you!

    Hi, Molly!

I recently had to spend about that much time at the Orlando International Airport (MCO), and I was surprised at how the time flew by.  There are plenty of shops -- including the Disney Earport -- and restaurants, and the airport has free Wi-Fi. I got to catch up on my emails and even my Disney Cruise Line questions from guests while I was waiting.

Plus, you can look into booking a room at the Hyatt Regency at the airport to be ready the day before you arrive. A hotel room there can give you a nice respite and a chance to take a nap or rest before your traveling continues. Of course, you will need to make sure they know of your travel plans ahead of your arrival.

I hope this helps you plan. Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
