Any idea how the new stroller restrictions will be enforced? Will the gate have a list of preapproved strollers? Will they physically measure it? The dimensions of our Bob duallie revolution se read 52.5" online, but my measurements put it at 52"

Hi there, Jasmine, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It’s almost time to Get Your Ears On at the Happiest Place on Earth!

That’s a great question, and I’m glad to hEAR you’re researching the new stroller size rules before your arrival. According to the Disneyland Resort Rules, starting this Wednesday, May 1, 2019, the size of permitted strollers is changing from 36” in width x 52” in length to 31” in width to 52” in length. So, if your stroller is actually 52.5” in length, it would be too long according to these rules. However, if your measurements have it at 52” in length, measured from the longest points of the stroller, then you should be alright. I have heard from several friends with the BOB Revolution Flex Duallie 2.0, that it will fit within the new guidelines, measuring 30.5” wide and 48” long.

We don’t know exactly how the Disneyland Resort will be enforcing the new guidelines starting May 1. However, the Resort currently has taped helpful guides on the esplanade of the Mickey & Friends Parking Structure, on the path leading toward Tram Loading. Stroller users are testing out the size of their stroller by rolling it into the 31” x 52” taped box on the ground marked “Check your stroller size here." So, the rule of thumb is, if it can fit within those dimensions, it will be allowed inside the Resort. You can even make your own version of this by measuring out 31" x 52" and outlining with tape on your floor, then rolling your stroller into the outlined box.

To see the other rules and regulations being implemented May 1, check out this helpful article from the Disney Parks Blog to help you know before you go!

Once inside the parks, I recommend checking out the Baby Care Centers for all your baby and toddler needs. Not only do they sell baby items, such as diapers, wipes, and sunscreen, but they also offer a quiet spot to nurse or feed your little one. And if you happen to be potty-training, they even offer tiny toilets!

Wishing you magical adventures at the Disneyland Resort!
