Can an ID from a Florida College or University serve as proof of residency when picking up annual passes that were ordered online?

    Hi, Melody!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! You've asked a great question about what is required to qualify for an Annual Pass as a Florida Resident. I can understand wanting to take advantage of being so close to the magic of the Walt Disney World Resort when attending college in Florida. My daughter is currently looking at schools in the Sunshine State and has dreams of becoming a Passholder as well!

At this time, Melody, a college ID is not an acceptable form of residency for a Florida Resident Annual Pass. If you were to be eligible, you would need the following: valid Florida driver's license, valid Florida state-issued ID card, or a valid Florida-based military ID. If you do not have any of the identification I listed above, you can also show proof of current mortgage, homeowner's insurance policy/bill, automobile registration/policy/bill, or current power/phone/cable/water bill with a Florida address. None of the items can be more than two months old and must be accompanied by a picture ID (state ID, driver's license, or passport). A statement from your bank or an investment account or government agency (city, county, state, or federal) within two months is also allowed.

I'm sorry I did not have better news for you, but I hope the information I provided was helpful. As a non-Florida resident, you can look at the Disney Platinum Plus and Disney Platinum Pass, which both include no blackout dates to all four theme parks, free standard parking at the theme parks, discounts, and more! Please let us know if you have any additional questions and best of luck in college!
