H, We are very excited to be traveling to Florida as a group of 10 this summer! We are a little confused as to the difference between photopass, memory maker and the magic bands, could you please clarify? Many thanks

Hey Angela!  I am so excited for your group to make a trip across the pond to visit the "Most Magical Place on Earth".  Capturing the magic at Walt Disney World has never been easier.  Let me help you unscramble this confusion.

Disney PhotoPass Service is a free service where a Disney Photopass photographer or location
takes the photo.  This way no one is left out of the moment.  All photos can be shared among Guests in your party.  You can even customize them with borders and graphics! The Disney PhotoPass photographer or location has a device which will link your images to any Guests' MagicBand in your party. Some attractions even make videos.

Memory Maker is a service offered through Disney PhotoPass service which allows unlimited online access to download all the photos and videos made by your group.

MagicBand is a water-proof wearable technology and is your Key to the Kingdom.  With MagicBand, your tickets, resort room key, photos, FastPass+ reservations and dining reservations are all kept in one place.  The MagicBand utilizes radio frequency technology allowing you to "touch" your way into your room, attractions and even purchase meals and merchandise.  There is no personal information stored within the MagicBand.  A random code securely links to an encrypted database storing your information. MagicBand keeps everything in arms reach.

    Enjoy making many Magical Memories!
