This is my husband's first trip to DisneyWorld. We are there next month. I want to make sure he has a wonderful time. Is there one attraction or ride that you think he really needs to experience? What's at the top of your list? Thank you so much.

    Hi Terry:

Your husband will soon find that Disney World is a wonderful vacation for adults. If I had to pick just one attraction for your husband, it would be Space Mountain.  Without knowing your husband's tastes, below are my top attractions at each park, that may help get your husband started on a great vacation:

    • Magic Kingdom: Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.
    • Epcot: Soarin,Test Track, Mission Space
    • Hollywood Studios: Toy Story Mania (kids or no kids, this is a must-do), Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, and Rock 'n' Roller Coaster.
    • Animal Kingdom: Expedition Everest, Kali River Rapids, and Dinosaur.

Also head for a night to take in the entertainment, shops, restaurants, and nightlife of the Boardwalk area and Downtown Disney. At the Boardwalk area, stop by ESPN Club or Jellyrolls. At Downtown Disney, try Raglan Road, and balloon ride with Characters in Flight, a very romantic experience with a breathtaking view of Disney World property. Try a walking tour of the countries of World Showcase in Epcot and try your favorite adult drinks. Also look into the Richard Petty Driving Experience, where you can drive or ride shotgun in a NASCAR-style stock car at speeds up to 120mph.

    Enjoy your vacation.
