My husband and I and I are planners. We are starting to think about and plan for our son's first Disney trip. Our son is 17 months right now. I want to take him the summer after he turns 4. Is this a good age or should we wait until he is older? Thanks.

    Hi Caridad!
I think being a planner is great. After all, you want to have the best possible time with your family when you come to Walt Disney World.
If you ask 10 Panelists, you will likely get 10 different answers as to the best age for a "First" Disney trip. Personally, I think waiting until 4 is just about perfect. Your son will be old enough to split time between the stroller and actually walking around the parks, and he will be old enough to enjoy many of the attractions and remember most of it. I would stick with your current plan, but that's just me talking.
I hope this helps and I wish you a Magical first trip!! :)
