Me, my husband and 4 yr. old will be visiting Disney the middle of March. Which resort would be the best to stay in with a 4 yr old?

    Hi Vickie,

All of the Disney resorts are very family friendly, well-themed and have fabulous pools.  I would let your budget and preference for theming guide your decision.  My personal favorites for younger children in each of the pricing categories include:

Value Resort:  All Star Music - I am a huge fan of the family suites here, that have two full baths, a kitchenette and a separate master bedroom and living room.  The kitchenette is great for preparing some quick meals and snacks, and saving on concessions inside the parks.  The extra space is wonderful when mom and dad want to stay awake, while kids hit the sack earlier in the evening.

Moderate Resort:  Caribbean Beach Resort- If your four-year-old is a pirate fan, I recommend splurging on one of the newly themed pirate rooms.  The main pool area is fashioned after a pirate ship, and includes kid-sized slides, water canons and splash areas.

Deluxe Resort:  Beach Club- Stormalong Bay is my favorite pool on Disney property.  The children's area has a zero entry, and soft, sandy bottom.  In addition, the resort has an amazing location, within walking distance (or short boat ride) from both Epcot and Hollywood Studios.

Whichever property you chose to call "home" while on vacation, have a magical trip!
