Hello, my husband our 3 yr old daughter and myself will be traveling to WDW in December and staying at a timeshare, we would like to extend our trip 3 nights and stay in WDW. Do you have any suggestions of resorts that would be good for a 3yr old??

    Erin,

I can't think of any resorts at Walt Disney World that wouldn't be fabulous for a child. However, there are some resorts that have more amenities that cater to young kids.

First, it will depend on your budget. You'll have value, moderate and deluxe hotels to choose from - and that's just the beginning. There are also villas!

For a value resort, I would recommend Pop Century or All-Star Movies. Pop Century is whimsical and fun while All-Star Movies brings Disney characters to larger-than-life reality.

For a moderate, I would visit Port Orleans French Quarter or Caribbean Beach. French Quarter has rooms that have been newly refurbished and it has a pool slide geared for young kids. It's a quaint resort that is very charming. Caribbean Beach has a wonderful water play area for small kids which includes a pirate ship to play on.

The deluxe resorts are numerous and each is themed in true Disney style. For example, the Animal Kingdom Lodge will take your family to an African savanna without leaving Orlando! The Wilderness Lodge is a kid favorite with its log-cabin structure. The Beach Club has a pool with a sandy bottom!

I would first narrow down your budget. Then take a look at resort pictures. There's a good assortment at www.AllEars.Net!
