    Cheri Asked

    My husband and I are going to WDW for 1st time with 8 and 4y/o. Will be there 4 full days and 2 half days. Any suggestions on how much time to spend in each park and which parks are best to combine in one day? We have a park hopper pass, too. Thanks!

    With an 8 year old and a 4 year old, the Magic Kingdom is clearly your most important park. With 4 full days and two half days, I would recommend that you spend your time as follows;

    Magic Kingdom: 3 days
    Epcot: 1/2 day (afternoon/evening park)
    Hollywood Studios: 1 day
    Animal Kingdom: 1/2 day (morning park)

    As to what parks on what days, and in what order, a lot has to do with the dates when you are visiting. Having that Park Hopper helps a lot, but keep your moving from park to park to a minimum, if you can, since time in transport means time NOT on an attraction or at a show.

    If you write me back with dates of when you are going, and where you are staying (on or off property), I can recommend a daily plan. But if you want to take it from here on your own, I always recommend starting and ending your trip at the Magic Kingdom. It just seems to be the perfect bookend to any Walt Disney World vacation!

    Have a magical vacation!
