Hi, My husband and I are going to WDW this September and we would like to know what to expect for weather and crowd level? Also, as we have been to WDW before this is the first time we are going just the two of us, what would you recommend for 2 Adults?

Hi Kristiane!  I can clearly remember the first trip to Walt Disney World without children and it was definitely different. I kept thinking I had a stroller or diaper bag somewhere around!

September is usually a great month for shorter lines and smaller crowds. With the Free Dining promotion this will add to the numbers but generally you will still find it fairly quiet. Families have had to return home for the beginning of school and it is too early for fall breaks. Weather wise you will find it still quite hot with the temperatures ranging from 72-90 degrees and humid. The afternoon storms start to diminish but it is not unusual to get rain. Just go prepared or buy the great ponchos and continue on with the parks!

There are many things to do for just adult couples. This is the time to try some of those restaurants you have avoided with the kids: Victoria and Alberts, Citricos wine dinner, Flying Fish wine dinner, California Grill, and Bistro de Paris.  For evening activities consider getting tickets to the great Cirque De Soleil show in Downtown Disney or spend some time listening to the dueling pianos at Jellyrolls on the Boardwalk. If you want something a bit more outdoors take a carriage ride at Fort Wilderness, a trial ride, rent a Sea Raycer boat, or book a fishing guide for a few hours. For real adventure check out the Richard Petty Driving or Riding experiences offered right there at the racetrack on Disney property. Most guests don't know it is situated right behind the Magic Kingdom parking lot!

Enjoy all four parks but this time just take in those attractions that are important to you. Take your time and try to observe things you might not have seen in past trips. My husband and I love to just walk and if we do an attraction great but just being around all the magic and enjoying the entertainment is what is most important to us!
