My husband and I are wanting to take our daughter, 4, on her first trip to Disney World this year. I am a teacher and am having a difficult time decided whether we should go during January (cooler weather) or July (summer vacation for me).

    Hi Kristi!

One of my very best friends is a teacher and always has the same dilemma when planning her vacations.  Without a doubt, if you are able to travel in January, go for it!  There are sooo many great reasons to travel at this time - better weather, fewer crowds and much lower prices.  While I would go to Disney World at ANY time, July is pretty darn hot and crowded.  Your little princess will probably enjoy  her first trip much better if she is not dripping in sweat and surrounded by masses of people!  Also, be sure and check out the Walt Disney World Dolphin Resort, as they usually offer unbelievable deals for teachers.  Please let me know if you have any other questions - have a great trip!
