    Hello, Erica!

I'm a firm believer that kids of all ages can enjoy a trip to Walt Disney World; there is an extra-special dash of pixie dust, too, when parents can watch their little ones really get swept up in the magic that's all around them.

Our daughter was just 3 on our first trip to WDW, and our next trip came when our son was 2. Because the little ones are truly immersed in the magic of meeting a favorite character, watching fireworks for the first time or being tall enough for their first mild coaster ride, these trips are truly among my favorite memories of Walt Disney World. Even better, there are so many attractions, activities and entertainment offerings at WDW that you still won't be able to do and see everything that's designed for families with little ones in tow in just one trip.

Regarding your accommodations, there are so many wonderful choices at WDW. A great Deluxe Villa at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas-Kidani Village includes Uwanja Camp, a great kids' splash area, plus the animals on the resort's savannahs are truly amazing. A stay at a Deluxe Resort, such as Disney's Contemporary Resort, puts you right next door to the Magic Kingdom. A stay in a Pirate Room at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort (Moderate) includes pirate ship-themed decor throughout your room. Finally, there are some wonderful features in Value Resorts as well. Take a look at the newest addition, Disney's Art of Animation Resort, which includes fantastic themed areas. Go onto WDW's website and enter a few dates into a search for a vacation package, then change up the accommodations to see what the effect on the total cost might be from one category to another. I'd be happy to answer questions as you do this as well!

Please send more questions as you think of them; I love to help!
