My husband and I will be visitng WDW with our infant and my parents. We would like to stay together in a 2 BR and need rec. on which resort would best fit our needs. We need easy access to amenties w/o a lot of walking. My mom will use w.c. at parks.

    Hi Krista,

The two-bedroom villas at some of the Disney Vacation Club properties might be a good bet for you and your family.  The Villas at Wilderness Lodge are lovely.  The resort is located in the Magic Kingdom area, and you can take a boat over to the Magic Kingdom, with bus transportation to the other parks.  The Villas at the Beach Club and Boardwalk are both considered Epcot resort areas.  There is boat transportation to both Epcot and Hollywood Studios (you can actually walk to these parks, but this wouldn't serve your mom well.)  Both Saratoga Springs and Old Key West are lovely villa properties, but are a bit more spread out than the others I've mentioned.  Whatever you choice, I would ensure that you mention your moms mobility concerns and needs to the Cast Member that assists you, so that they can work with you to meet her needs.

Wheelchairs and Electric Convenience Vehicles (ECVs) are available for rent at each of the parks.  In addition, wheelchairs CAN be rented and used at each of the resort properties.  Having a wheelchair available at the resort you chose might help your mom enjoy her stay even more.  Click HERE for specific locations and current pricing information.  Have a wonderful trip!
