Hi, my husband and I are visiting WDW in Aug. If our fastpass+ itinerary is as follows @ Epcot would this work without overlap restriction: SSE at 9:45-1045, MS at 11:30-12:30 (my FP selections), then my husbands TT @ maybe 12:00 since it's his FP choice?

Hi, Ronni! Thanks so much for stopping by with your question.

The FastPass+ system does have certain restrictions on how FastPass+ selections can be made by Guests. One of these restrictions is that each Guest's FastPass+ windows cannot overlap. If a Guest selects one attraction for a return of 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., then he/she will not be able to select another experience after 10:00 a.m. or before 11:00 a.m.

They way you are looking at setting up your FastPass+ selections is perfectly fine. Instead of looking at it as what both of your FastPass+ windows would be, look instead at what your windows would be and what his windows would be. He will have Spaceship Earth scheduled at 9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., which will not conflict with his other desired time at Test Track around 12:00 p.m. Your Mision: SPACE window of 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. will not conflict with your shared Spaceship Earth window.

Since the system is set up to provide each Guest with three FastPass+ options per day, you will need to make one other FastPass+ selection of your choosing, or allow the system to simply select one for you. The only problem I foresee is that, as your plan stands, your husband will choose one Tier One selection and one Tier Two selection. He will need to choose another Tier Two selection. However, you will need to make a Tier One selection, as you are looking at two Tier Two selections. You can review current Tier One and Two FastPass+ selections in this question I recently answered.

I hope this helps make your Epcot planning a little easier. Please stop by again if you think of any other questions!
