My husband and I want to visit Disney World one last time; I'm now on oxygen and can't do a lot of standing or hurrying. Does WDW have helpful hints or restrictions for those on oxygen? Thanks

    Hi there Linda,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks for directing your question to me!  I'm so sorry to hEAR that it's difficult to do a lot of standing or hurrying, but I think it's great you and your husband are planning to visit the Walt Disney World Resort

I have always found that Disney does a great job of making sure that Guests with any restrictions or disabilities are able to experience a magical trip. You will definitely be able to bring your portable oxygen tank or portable oxygen concentrator into the theme parks.  If you plan to bring an oxygen concentrator, I do recommend bringing extra fully charged batteries into the park with you. Although I do believe you will be amazed at just how many attractions you will be able to experience, there may be a few thrill attractions that may not be accessible with your oxygen equipment. Follow the link I have provided to learn more about ride restrictions.

You may consider renting a Wheelchair or ECV at the theme park if you feel the amount of walking will be too much. I would also recommend visiting Guest Relations as you enter the park to inquire about the Disability Access Service (DAS) and to discuss any specific needs with a Cast Member.

I hope this information has been helpful to you. If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to reach out again. Best wishes for a magical trip, Linda!

    Happy Planning,
    Jodie
