My husband is a veteran and struggles with crowds and confined spaces. I'm concerned about waiting in line not so much for the time, but that fact that some of them take you through confined spaces. Are there accomodations for this?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Isabel!

First, please tell your husband that I thank him for his service to our country. We stand free because of amazing people like him. I also want to thank you for the sacrifice you and your family made during his deployments.

Walt Disney World Resort strives to accommodate the needs of all their Guests, including those that may need additional assistance to make their vacations even more magical. To afford all visiting Guests an enjoyable, comfortable and inclusive visit, Disney provides the Disability Access Service Card (DAS).

The DAS is issued to Guests with a wide variety of special needs, such as the inability to stand in crowded or confined spaces for extended periods of time. For an in-depth explanation, please read the Disney Parks Disability Access Service Card Fact Sheet. Also, keep in mind you can use the DAS in conjunction with FastPass+ too.

I recommend stopping by Guest Relations to obtain a DAS for your husband on that very first theme park visit day. A friendly Cast Member will provide you with even more detailed information, regarding the convenient service that will help your entire family make the most of your trip. If you have other questions, feel free to speak with a Cast Member in Disability Access Services at (407) 560-2547, or email disability.services@disneyparks.com.

Please visit us again soon, with all your Disney vacation planning questions. We would love to hEAR back from you, Isabel!

Wishing your family, a most memorable visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
