My husband and I will be travelling with our 3 girls 10, 3 and 2. For a family of 5 and considering the girls ages what should we be expecting for "extra costs"? So we know what we need to save for the trip?

You don't say whether you're on the dining plan or not, Tara.  If so, you'll want to remember to budget for gratuities as those are not covered by dining plan credits.  If not, I assume you've properly accounted for meals.  Typical extras include souvenir items, snacks in the parks, and special events (such as the Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party).  Souvenir budgets can vary greatly, depending on what your children have their hearts set on.  My youngest child--who is five--gets fifty dollars to spend on souvenirs during our trip.  I give it to him on a gift card and once it's gone, it's gone.  I think it's a fair amount for a child his age. The cost of snacks in the park vary, but I'd say that the average is right around five dollars.  If you plan on indulging on treats during your vacation, I'd set aside five to seven dollars per person/per day as a snack budget.  Other things to consider are:

    - a case of water to keep in your resort room
    - sunscreen and/or ponchos
    - alcoholic beverages
    - gratuities for bell services

    I hope that helps!
