My husband and I are traveling with our kids who will be turning 1 and 7. We are traveling to WDW for their birthdays which are Dec 5th and 8th!! What special things/events can we do for their birthdays??

    Hi, Cherry!

I have a December 4th birthday, so can I hop in on the fun with your kids?!  There is certainly no better place to celebrate a birthday than Walt Disney World!

Start by making an Advance Dining Reservation at a fun character meal like Chef Mickey's or Crystal Palace.  Make note on the reservation that you are celebrating birthdays and your birthday kids might get a special sweet-treat for dessert.

In lieu of autograph books, bring oversized birthday cards for the characters to sign.  What a great keepsake of their WDW birthday celebration!   You will also want to get a free "Happy Birthday" button (at least for your 7 year old) at any Guest Services location so everyone knows you are they to celebrate. (I would not want your little Mouseketeer to get pinched by the pin!)

Bring some fun decorations from home.  Put a sign on your door, or display a Happy Birthday banner in your window to make your room festive.  You can even have a special gift sent from www.DisneyFlorist.com .  They have amazing gift baskets for birthday kids of all ages.

Birthday cakes are available at table service locations.  Inquire at the podium when checking in for your meals for birthday cake pricing.

However you decide to celebrate, make it FUN and take lots of pictures to remember this very special year of birthdays at Walt Disney World!
