My husband and I will be traveling to Disney world at the end of March with our best friends and their two daughters (ages 10 and 13). We are staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge, are the girls too old for Simba's Clubhouse? We would like an adult only night.

Unfortunately the club only takes children up to the age of 12.

So your adult only night is scrapped, right? NO! There are some great baby-sitting services in Orlando that you might consider. They are NOT affiliated to Disney, but many of them are bonded and are a great way to keep your kids occupied while you make sure that it is a "fun vacation for everyone"!

I have never personally used Kids Night Out, but friends have used them and been very pleased with the service. Their number is 407-828-0920. Check to make sure that they are bonded, and ask them what they can provide in terms of a service. Past customers have reported that they will (with your approval) take the kids to dinner, bring games to play, etc.

    Have a magical vacation!
