    Nicole from NJ Asked

My husband and I want to take our three year old daughter to Disney either in early June or in August (first time!!). We want a one bedroom suite so we can have our own space and are looking for suggestions as to where to stay.

    Nicole:

Thanks for coming to the Mom's Panel!

Your least expensive option is a Family Suite at the All-Star Music Resort.  It offers a bedroom, two baths, a kitchenette with microwave and small refrigerator, along with a sofa bed and a chair and ottoman that pull out into cots similar to a rollaway.

Next step up would be a cabin at Fort Wilderness.  It also offers a bedroom with a double bed and a set of bunk beds along with its own television.  There is one bath, a full-size kitchen and a Murphy bed that pulls out into the large living/dining area with a second television.  A deck sits off the side of the cabin, and if you like fresh-air, would be a great spot for some adult time under the stars.

From there, you may want to choose a one-bedroom suite at a Deluxe Villa which begin at $385, although most are $450 a night during Value Season this year.  If I had to suggest one, I'd seriously consider Beach Club Villas for its Stormalong Bay water activities, including a lazy river, or Animal Kingdom Villas with a Savannah view--espeically if your daughter enjoys animals!

    Wishing you a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
