Hi. My husband and I are thinking about going to Magic Kingdom over Memorial Day weekend. We have a 4 year old and a 8 month old. Any suggestions how to keep them both entertained and would it be worth getting the dining plan?

"Worth it" questions are so hard to answer, Suzanne, in part because value is so very subjective.  Here's the truth from my perspective: while the dining plan is convenient and fun, it wouldn't necessarily be worth it for my family because we do not like eating at counter-service locations.  We find it a better value to just pay out of pocket for our meals.  That said, if you think you will make use of every credit (at both table and counter-service locations) the dining plan does offer a significant savings over paying for the same meals out of pocket.

As for keeping your little ones entertained, I venture to guess that they'll both be happiest in Fantasyland.  It's the part of Magic Kingdom that offers the most familiar and fanciful characters and attractions for preschoolers.  In addition to sticking around Fantasyland, you'll want to make sure your kiddos are well-rested and well-fed because I've found those criteria to be imperative to happy children.  Do remember to stay protected from the sun, too.  Other than that, go and have a great time!
