My husband and are thinking of going to Disney World December 31 until Jan 4th, I was wondering what the crowds are like at that time of the year?

    Hi there, Dana!

In my opinion, there is nothing better than the extra special experience of visiting Walt Disney World during the holidays.  That said, the weeks around Christmas and New Years normally reach maximum crowd capacity.  You can still have an amazing time if you set the right expectations.  First off, you simply must take advantage of all that's available to you at My Disney Experience.  You should absolutely utilize FastPass+ and/or FASTPASS so that you can lock in times for specific attractions without having to wait.  Also, be sure to get to the parks early and stay all day.  It is not uncommon for the parks to reach capacity.  If you leave, you may not be able to get back in.

Let us know if we can help answer any other questions, Dana.

Until then, I wish you a truly magical (and merry!)  vacation!
