My husband and I are talking about taking our 3 yr old daughter to WDW. I would like to know if there would be alot for her to do or ride there? We don't want to get there and she's too young or short to ride stuff. Thank You

Hi Tabatha!  I just returned from Walt Disney World with my 3 year old grandson and he had a wonderful time.  He especially liked taking a ride in the little Sea Raycer boats that you can rent at many of the water front resorts!

Please click HERE to reach the Disney website page showing attractions.  Look on the left side and click on RECOMMENDED AGES and then select the age group that is appropriate to you and click on that.  You will now have a nice listing of the rides and attractions at all parks that Disney feels are good for children that age.  We usually don't stop at this listing as our grandson loves to ride along and take in the sights of other things even if he is not comprehending what we do.  You can also check out the height restrictions for the rides at this location.

There are many things to do beyond the parks for the younger set.  She might enjoy spending time in Downtown Disney at Disney Quest or playing and building in Legoland.  Make sure you hit the Magic Kingdom park for the Celebration parade, Move It-Shake It-Celebrate It!  The children are encouraged to get into the street with the characters to dance along!  Fort Wilderness is also a great secret where you can have a pony ride, watch the Blacksmith at work, visit all the draft horses you see in the parks, and rent a canoe for a leisurely ride on the quiet waterways.  Even when we stay for a week we still wish we had had more time to do more things!
