My husband and I are taking our 2 year old to WDW in Oct. I would like to make reservations for a character breakfast, when i go online to make a reservation if I put in 3 guests I am charged for 3 people,I thought our 2 year old would be free..

I love visiting Walt Disney World in October. The parks and resorts are all decorated so well with that fun spooky feeling. You are just going to love it. As for character dining, it is so much fun and a great memory maker. Your 2 year old is indeed free, but you do need to include the little one on the reservation. My kids were huge fans of Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, part of the Norway Pavilion within Epcot theme park World Showcase. They adored the beauty and kindness of the many visiting princesses as well as the American  Norwegian-inspired entrees for lunch. The meat selection is great. I would make that reservation to enjoy a fun meal. One little tip is to make sure your little one is comfortable with the larger Disney characters. My older daughter loved the likes of Peter Pan and all the Princesses, but the larger then life characters like Goofy and Donald gave her quite a startle. We have a great photo of her hanging on to us for dear life as Goofy approaches to give her a hug. It's a great picture now, but she was not thrilled. Just something to take into account. Have a magical trip and I will see you at the parks.
