My husband and I are taking my son and his friend to Disney for a graduation gift. We want to stay onsite so they have easy access to go off on their own to explore the various parks. Can anyone recommend a hotel? Thanks!

    Hi, Chris!

Congratulations to your son and his friend on their graduation!  I think a Walt Disney World Resort vacation sounds like the perfect way to celebrate!

When it comes to Walt Disney World Resort Hotels, you really cannot go wrong no matter which one you choose. They are all amazing in their own way, and one of the best perks of staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel is the convenient, complimentary transportation.  Every Walt Disney World Resort Hotel has complimentary bus transportation to and from all of the theme parks, water parks, and Disney Springs, so no matter which resort hotel you choose, your son and his friend will be able to explore on their own with ease.

That being said, my personal recommendation would be that you take a look at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, or Disney's Contemporary Resort.  These three resort hotels have monorail access in addition to bus transportation.  This makes traveling to Magic Kingdom Park and Epcot a breeze.

If you do end up staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, be sure to make your FastPass+ selections 60 days prior to your arrival.  This is another great perk of staying on Walt Disney World property.  You may also want to check out the Enchanting Extras Collection for a special way to celebrate your son's graduation.

    See ya real soon!
