    Hi all! My husband and I are taking our 3 kids (12,7 and 2) in May of 2014. It will be my husbands first time as well as the kids. I am wondering which hotel to stay at that will accommodate our family of 5, and my husband will love. 5000 budget/week.

    Amber,

    There are a lot of choices that you want to check out. Since I don't know all of what that $5000 budget has to cover for you, I would recommend you price out these few options that I have selected for your family. Then you will know which fits most comfortably into your overall plans;

    Option 1: Two Pop Century Rooms: Regular rooms here only accomodate 4, so you would need 2.

    Option 2: One Family Suite at the Art of Animation: While a bit pricey, you only need 1 room. But you can all stay together and you are at the newest and arguably most vibrant resort.

    Option 3: Port Orleans Riverside - Standard rooms here accomdate 5, and while a bit tight on space, you might find it even less expensive than option 2.

    Option 4: Yacht Club: This deluxe resort puts you walking/boating distance away from both Hollywood Studios and Epcot. Just as important it gives your 12 year old a family-friendly evening destination (BoardWalk) that they can walk to with one parent while the other has the two younger kids in bed.

    In all cases I think your husband will find these to be fun, well themed, and still have better than average amenities that mean less work and more relaxation for him.

    Write me back if you need some dad planning assistance!

    Have a magical vacation!
