My husband and I are taking out 3 children, ages 9, 5, and 2 to Disney next week. We plan on heading to Animal Kingdom, and Magic Kingdom. What can I do with all 3 kids at such different ages/stages? Please help!

    Hi Jamie,

Your kids are at the perfect ages to enjoy the Magic Kingdom and Disney's Animal Kingdom!  With the exception of a few thrill rides or particularly scary attractions, they can experience just about everything.

In the Magic Kingdom, be sure they experience everything in Fantasyland (except for Snow White's Scary Adventures which may be too intense for your smallest child).  Whatever you do, don't miss Dumbo The Flying Elephant and It's a Small World.  These are classic Magic Kingdom attractions.

In Adventureland, check out Pirates of the Caribbean, The Magic Carpets of Aladdin, The Enchanted Tiki Room, The Jungle Cruise, and the Swiss Family Treehouse.  The Country Bear Jamboree and Tom Sawyer Island are great attractions for your crew in Frontierland.  Don't miss The Hall of Presidents and the Liberty Square Riverboat in Liberty Square.  You may want to save the Haunted Mansion until your youngest children are a bit older, unless you happen to know they like spooky, dark rides.  Don't forget the Tomorrowland Indy Speedway, the Peoplemover, Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress, Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, and Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor in Tomorrowland.

As for Disney's Animal Kingdom, head for Kilimanjaro Safaris first.  Don't miss the amazing shows available in this theme park!  Festival of the Lion King, Flights of Wonder, and Finding Nemo - The Musical should not be missed by families with small children.  Take the time to explore the many trails and exhibits populated with exotic animals.  I would advise you, though, to skip Dinosaur and It's Tough to Be a Bug this trip because they can be especially frightening for young children.

Have an amazing trip with your family and let us know if you have any additional questions!
