My husband and I are taking our boys, ages 6 and 3, to Disney World in February for the first time. We only have 2 days to visit the parks and the Magic Kingdom is a given. I'd love to go to Epcot too but would Animal Kingdom be a better choice?

    Hi Kelly,

If your boys love animals I do think that Disney's Animal Kingdom is a better choice for your family on day two than Epcot.  While there are age-appropriate attractions for your boys at both parks, I think you'll find more of them at Disney's Animal Kingdom.  The shows at Disney's Animal Kingdom (Finding Nemo - The Musical, Flights of Wonder, and Festival of the Lion King) are particularly well suited to preschoolers and early school age children.

Be sure to start your day at Disney's Animal Kingdom with Kilimanjaro Safaris as the animals are often extremely active in the morning and lines are shorter then too.

Wishing you a magical Disney adventure in February!
