My husband and I are spending 10 days at WDW in Sept. for our 34th anniv. We plan to see Mickey's Jammin' Jungle Parade at 4 p.m. and dining at Boma that evening. How long should we allow to get to the lodge, is it walkable or do we need to take a bus?

There is not a walkway between the Animal Kingdom park and the Animal Kingdom Lodge resort. You will need to take bus transportation for your dinner at Boma.

Your in transit time once aboard the bus is only 5 minutes.

Allow time before or after your dinner to tour this unique resort. You’ll feel like a world traveler sitting in the Sunset Savanna room. This overlook is to the right of the Front Desk. Venture outside to the Arusha Rock Savanna Overlook, passing by (or sitting to relax at) the Arusha Rock Fire Pit. You may need to ask for directions as Boma is closer to the outdoor pool area. There is also an indoor fire pit in the lobby and lots of comfortable seating areas.

Enjoy your evening, including the buffet dinner, at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Have a magical anniversary!
