My husband and I are seniors in our 60's. Which rides are tame enough for us? I no longer feel like we can ride coasters unless very tame. Is Thunder Mountain the most tame one? Would Soarin' be tame enough for us? Which seat area should I try to get?

    Hi there Chris!

It's great that you youngsters are heading back down to Walt Disney World! Out of all of the coasters, I think the most tame one IS Thunder Mountain. There are some slight bumps in the track but nothing too bad... A few months ago when I rode Space Mountain, I felt a little pushed around but nowhere near as bad as on a wooden coaster at one of the "other" theme parks. Rock-n-Roller Coaster was very smooth to me, as long as you can get by the initial speed surge you'll be fine. My dad who is in his sixties as well, really loved RnR, Everest, and Tower of Terror. You will be just fine on Soarin' its not a wild ride at all. In fact, my mom who cannot go on any coasters due to a bad fear of them, actually rode Soarin'. All of the rest of the rides are somewhat tame and you should be just fine! I hope you and your family have a Magical Time at the Walt Disney World Resort! Thanks so much for asking the Moms Panel!
