My husband is running the Disney Marathon in Jan. Trying to make a vacation out of it...we and our 2 yo son & 1 yo girl. I am so lost in everything. Where do we stay??? what do we do first?? Seems like I am in information overload. Please help! Thanks!

    Hi Mary,

That is fantastic that your husband is running the marathon!

I know that planning a vacation can seem overwhelming but you can turn it around and make it fun!

Take a look online at the resorts. On the right hand side there are options to help walk you through what is available. There are a few "host" resorts that will be offering transportation from the resort to the race site.  It makes it easy if you stay at a host resort in that you don't have to leave earlier to get transportation to the start of the race.

There is so much to do but with your little ones you can choose what works best for your family.  I think that they both will love going to the Magic Kingdom.  There are age appropriate rides for them there.  They will love the shows, parades and fireworks!  I am not sure how many days you will be staying but you can plan your park visits around how many days you will be at Walt Disney World.

I would highly recommend character dining.  The characters come right to your table, take pictures with you and sign your autograph book.  It really is special and your kids will light up with excitement!

You can always call in and have a Cast Member walk you through your booking, dining, park tickets.

Try not to stress about it; its a vacation and once you arrive you will be swept away by the magic of Walt Disney World.

I know I have given you a lot. If you have any other questions, please let us know.

Hi-5 to your husband in deciding to do the marathon-that is a big deal!!
