Hello! My husband and I are pretty seasoned Disney goers... however this year we will be bringing our 7.5 month old! I am a little nervous about this. Any advice to make this experience somewhat easier? What are must haves?

Hi Tessa! Your question makes my heart so happy! My son was nine months old during his first visit and it was one of our most memorable and magical vacations! When you are out and about, be sure you have a small blanket or towel with you. Use it to cover your stroller when you are inside an attraction. The warm Florida sun can make the stroller very hot on your little one's skin. When not being used to cover the stroller, the blanket will be great for nap time or late in the evening.

Other important items include: sunscreen, sunglasses and/or a hat if your child will wear them, change of clothes in a plastic storage bag, small snacks if needed, water, and any baby essentials. For added magic, an autograph book and pen will be great for meeting Disney Characters and is the perfect way to save treasured memories. I recommend the style where you can put a photograph on one side and have the Character sign on the other side. If you plan to enjoy a meal in a table service restaurant, you might also want to include a small toy or something to entertain your little one while you wait for your meal.

One of the most important recommendations I can make is to visit the Baby Care Centers. Located within all four theme parks, they are climate controlled and are the perfect place to change, feed or nurse your kiddo. In each of the Baby Care Centers, you will find a friendly Cast Member, private nursing room, changing room with tables, feeding area with highchairs, kitchen area with microwave, oven and sink, and a small shop with your basic baby needs such as diapers, baby food, wipes, and more.

Thanks so much for sharing your question with the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Please let me know if you have any other questions as you plan your magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
