My husband and I are planning on visiting Disney from 11/28- 12/4 2009. In previous years they celebrate Mickey's Very Merry Christmas during this time. Is this typically a busy time? We thought that we might be ok since most kids are in school still.

    Hi Billie Jean -

Disney is so magical during the holidays, and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas party is a special treat!  November 28th and 29th may be very busy simply because so many people spend Thanksgiving at Walt Disney World.  I think you'll find that the crowds lighten considerably towards the end of your vacation.  You may want to spend the first days of your vacation enjoying EPCOT.  Because it's so large, crowds (especially in the World Showcase) aren't as noticeable.  The decorations in each country are beautiful.

If you could push your trip to the following week (12/5 - 12/11), I think you would have a more relaxed visit.  I know that's not always possible, and I'm sure that you will have a wonderful time whenever you choose to go.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!
