My husband and I are planning to visit WDW on July 4th 2017 any suggestions for how a couple celebrating their 28 yr anniversary should celebrate the holiday at the parks?

Oh my goodness Beckie what a gloriously happy combination of celebrations to enjoy whilst you and your beloved husband are visiting Walt Disney World Resort this coming July.
There are so many amazing options to choose from such as an evening of fine dining at Victoria & Albert's, a practically perfect Afternoon Tea at Garden View Tea Room or set sail on a Speciality Cruise where you're sure to secure some of the best seats in the house for the usual 4th of July fireworks celebrations.
One of the most fun things I've ever had the pleasure to experience at Walt Disney World Resort are the VIP Tour Services; Guests are treated to some very exclusive perks such as the in-depth knowledge of the charming Scotch Plaid VIP tour guides, door to door transportation, expedited FastPass+ entry to attractions and so on. Believe me, Disney done this way is very special indeed.
Or for a truly wild time opt for a Starlight Safari at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge where Guests can seek out nocturnal savanna animals with the aid of night vision googles!
I'm sure whatever is finally decided upon you'll enjoy a magical time celebrating your 28th wedding anniversary at Walt Disney World Resort and will make some unforgettable memories together.
    Have a great Disney day.
