Hello, me and my husband are planning a visit this Sept( after honeymooning in WDW last September!) we are from England. Which Disney hotel to stay in? And how many days to allow in the parks ? Which ticket do we get ?

    Greetings Jayne,

I'm so excited for your adventure to The Happiest Place on Earth. You're going to have a wonderful holiday over here and make memories that will last a lifetime!

I have stayed in all three Disneyland Resort Hotels and love each of them. I think if you have journeyed all the way from England, then you may as well stay somewhere as nostalgic and iconic as the Disneyland Hotel. The Disneyland Hotel was refurbished a few years ago with a new motif in honoring the yesteryear of the original hotel. The Guest rooms feature headboards with a carving of Sleeping Beauty Castle skyline with fiber-optic "fireworks." Even the three pools at the Disneyland Hotels were re-imagined to be retro-themed. The E-Ticket Pool is perfect for relaxing after an adventurous day in the parks.

Jane, a fellow Disney Parks Moms Panelist from the UK, typically visits the Walt Disney World Resort for two weeks. However, the Disneyland Resort is a more intimate resort with two parks. There is plenty to do from shop, take a tour, enjoy the shows, to ride a thrilling attractions, you could surely enjoy a week or more here! You're visiting Walt's original Theme Park with all the history and magic, in and of itself, is something to take in. I recommend stopping by City Hall on Main Street, U.S.A. to ask about special tours like "Walk in Walt's Disneyland Footsteps" Guided Tour.
You can "Be Our Guest" at The Happiest Place on Earth as long as your heart desires. My family loves to visit for five days. We always buy a Theme Park Hopper Ticket-having two parks across from each other makes it so easy to "hop" over to the other park to enjoy their festivities! However, if you will be visiting the parks for a couple weeks, then you will want to invest in a Disneyland Resort Annual Passport.

If you have any more questions, please write me back, I'm here to help you plan your pixie-dusted vacation.

    Wishing you magic!
