My husband and I are planning a trip to WDW in November for our daugter's 5th birthday. We are FL residents, but I was wondering...what would be a better deal: get season passes or buy a package deal w/dining plan?

Hi Jennifer! This is a tough question as there are many different types of Disney Florida Annual Passes. Many of them will come with offers for dining and resort savings while others only allow visits at certain times of year.

The Premium Annual Pass is the most expensive but will allow you to visit at any time and includes park hopping. parking, special discounts, special events, and some recreation and water parks. Other options include EPCOT after 4, Weekday pass, Seasonal Pass, and regular Annual Pass. If you feel you will be visiting Walt Disney World for more then a week in one year it is likely that the Annual Pass is the option for you. I am not a Florida resident but have figured that for myself an Annual Pass is the best way to go and I add to that the great Tables of Wonderland that gives me 20% discount on all food and beverage at most Disney restaurants. This combination doesn't limit me to having to count points or credits and I can pick and choose when and where I wish to eat for each visit.

Having a five year old I will assume this won't be your last visit to the parks and since you do reside in Florida I would certainly look into taking advantage of the Season Annual Pass. This then will give you the chance to hop back to any park throughout the year!
