My husband and I are planning on taking our four year old to Disney World in February. When it comes to the ride swap, can my husband ride with my daughter and I wait in the ride swap line and then when they get off I can ride with my daughter?

I think maybe you're confused about the rider swap program. Rider swap is for parties with children where the child cannot (for whatever reason: too short, fear, special needs) participate in the attraction. The child needs supervision, so both parents cannot go on the ride at the same time, but the parents don't want to wait in a long line twice. Thus, the rider swap. One parent rides while the other stays back and watches the child. Then the other parent rides while the first stays back and watches the child.  If you look on the right hand side of this page, you'll see a box that says "New Videos for Moms, by Moms." If you watch these, you'll see Panelist Michelle (and her lovely family) demonstrating the rider swap.

There are situations where more than one person can go on the rider swap pass. For example if a family has two parents, an infant, and a seven-year-old. In this case, Dad and 7 could ride while Mom watches the baby. Then Mom and 7 could ride while Dad watches the baby.

I hope this helps. Please let me know if you need further clarification.
