My husband and I are planning on retiring in 5 years. We would like to know is there a cruise that would take us from Disney World to Disney Land....if not now possibly in that near future?

    Hi, Melanie!

Congratulations on your countdown to retirement! A 15-night Panama Canal Cruise is just what you're asking for -- sailing from Port Canaveral (about 1 hour from Walt Disney World) to Los Angeles (near Disneyland) with many exciting ports of call in between. However, the Disney Wonder just completed that voyage at the beginning of this year on her way to host guests in the Mexican Riviera and summering in Alaska and the Pacific Northwest.

Of course, by the time you and hubby are footloose and fancy-free, there may be another opportunity to cross through the Panama Canal -- a sight of a lifetime -- on a Disney Cruise Line ship. Therefore, start now looking into how to cash in those retirement dollars or saving those extra pennies. Also, have your travel agent start inquiring about DCL's future plans to make the trek from East to West...or even vice versa! If you tack on a WDW and/or a Disneyland vacation, you could live on pixie dust for so long that you may never get your feet back on the ground!

Have a wonderful day and best wishes as you make your plans. Bon voyage!
