My husband and I are planning an Orlando vacation getaway for our birthdays WITHOUT the kids! We are staying offsite at a hotel between Disney and Universal Studios. Are we able to still use the Disney shuttle services from Downtown Disney to a park/resort

Thanks so much for coming to visit us at the Mom's Panel. Some of my favorite trips to Disney have been with just my husband. You'll love seeing Disney from a totally different perspective.

Disney transportation is free, including the buses that serve Downtown Disney. You do not have to stay at a Disney resort to use the buses, boats or monorail and that includes the buses at Downtown Disney. Keep in mind, though, that there are no buses that connect Downtown Disney to the theme parks, only resort buses serve Downtown Disney.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
