My husband and I are planning on getting annual passes next year when our daughter turns 1. I know she doesn't need an annual pass, but will she need a magic band in order to fastpass and reservations?

Hello Laura and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with a great question.

You will absolutely love being an annual passholder. If you are like me, you will look for any reason to visit the Walt Disney World Resort just to use your annual pass.

Your little princess will not need a MagicBand since she is under 3 and does not require a theme park ticket for admission. When you are selecting your FastPass+ experiences, if you are planning to stay on Disney property when you visit, you can make your selections up to 60 days in advance for the length of your trip. If you are not staying on property, you can make your selections 30 days prior to your arrival date for up to 7 days. Your princess will not need FastPass+ reservations since a valid admission ticket is required to select experiences and children under 3 are admitted free. As long as you have a FastPass+ reservation for an attraction or experience and she meets the height requirements, she can enjoy it with you.

When you are making your advanced dining reservations, you will want to include your princess as a child under 3. This will assist Cast Members, at table service restaurants, to know that you may need a high chair or booster seat prior to seating you for your dining experience. Your princess will be allowed to share her meal from your plate and eat for free.

Once you have officially become part of the Walt Disney World Annual Passholder family, you will be entitled to some pretty cool special offers and benefits. You can take a look at some of the special offers online. But keep in mind they are always subject to change.

    See ya real soon,
    Andrea
