    Hi, my husband and I planned a trip for Jan 2011. We booked though Disney and got a package that includes tickets, room, and airfare but, we didn't get insurance. We found out we must cancel. We have paid the airfare and deposit. Can we get it back?

    Hi Mallory,

    I am sorry you have to cancel your vacation.

    I would contact Disney to see what your options are for getting your money back. Since they know the package, they would be the best to answer those questions.

    If you can reschedule, this might save you money because you will have a change fee versus a cancellation. I would have an alternate date in mind when I called and ask them to look at a change option.

    I never buy the insurance, and while I have been lucky, the piece of mind to not loose everything might be worth it.
