My husband and I have never been on a plane and are not sure how the whole boarding pass thing works. We have made our reservations online with the flight included for June. How do we get our boarding passes for the flight to WDW? What do I need to do?

    Hi Kelsey,

What a great time to head out on your first plane trip! My first plane ride was to the Walt Disney World Resorts with my senior class trip. I love flying as much then as now.

You should have received a confirmation email with your airline information. You should have a confirmation number or eticket information for your air plane tickets. Most airlines do not allow you to check in prior to 24 hours to the flight. At that time, head on line to the airline you are flying and look for information on managing your flight or checking in. You will need to provide the confirmation number in order to pull up your reservation. You then follow the directions to print your boarding passes. You can even change your seats if you want.

Most airlines will allow you to print a boarding pass upon arrival to the airport at their kiosks. These work similarly with you needing a confirmation number or flight number. You can also pull your reservation by inserting any major credit card which simply pulls your information but does not charge you.

For your flight home, you can print your boarding passes at your Disney resort and ask Concierge to help you.

    Have a magical first flight!
