My husband and I have a package booked for 12 nights over Christmas and New Years. Our adult daughter would like to join us for 6 nights over Christmas. Is it possible to add her to the package for just the 6 nights with tickets and the Dining Plan?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Mary-Jo!

There is no better way to spend the holidays than at Walt Disney World Resort with your family! Unfortunately, all Disney Dining Plans are applied to all Guests on the reservation for the length of the reservation. In order for you, your husband and your daughter to enjoy the holidays together, I would suggest booking your trip as a "split stay". My family is enjoying a split stay this fall, staying at both Disney's Port Orleans Riverside - Riverside and Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, and I am so excited to enjoy two different hotels and resort areas during our trip! By booking the six nights with all three of you on one reservation and the other six nights with just you and your husband, your daughter will be included on the reservation and dining plan, but you will not be paying for dining credits she will not use. For your tickets, I would recommend purchasing them separately, rather than through a package, so you can select 6-day or 7-day tickets for your daughter and longer tickets for you and your husband. I would recommend calling the reservations specialists at (407) 939-7675 to help you get the best ticket plans purchased to match your trip plans.

Let me know if you have any other questions as you prepare for your Merry Christmas and Happy New Year at Walt Disney World Resort! T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
