My husband and I both have our own MDE accounts and have made dining res for our trip. Now that we are getting closer, we would like to link our accounts. What will happen if we both have dining reservation at the same time? Will it force us to choose one?

    Hi Lianne,

Just a couple of weeks until your magical vacation. Let's wrap up any last minute planning then!

So many restaurants at Walt Disney World Resort, and all excellent choices! And this is where a Disney Dining Plan helps, specially with budgeting meals. It's my family's dilemma ever trip: which restaurants to choose. We always make advanced dining reservations as early as 180 days before arrival. Some options like Cinderella's Royal Table are a must to book early in advance. But as we move closer to our trip, we are always modifying our reservations.

Linking your My Disney Experience accounts allows you make, change and modify advanced reservations not only for dining, but also for FastPass+. It also allows you to share Memory Maker. Now, when you make a reservation, you do not have to select the other members of your party, and will show up as Guests. If you do add them, then the reservation would show in their My Disney Experience account, and if there's a conflict, then you may be prompted to select a choice.

One last tip: remember that many Guests do change their reservations up to a couple of days in advance, in order to avoid cancellation or no-show fees. The My Disney Experience mobile app makes this a breeze. See you real soon!
